I am a photographic artist based in Scotland. Inspired by fantasy and fairytale, my artworks reveal the magic of the land around us.
My artworks are primarily composites, comprised of multiple photographs meticulously merged in post production. All photographs used are from my own library and it can take many months to create the final artworks, especially if further photographs are required.
I was inspired to submit to Real / Unreal as my works fit this theme perfectly. My artworks look like they could be real photographs (many people think they are), but they are not. I have taken the real world and changed it into the world I imagined. I am very open about the fact that my images are manipulated when people ask, and most are surprised to discover they are not real scenes.
All of my artworks are printed to the highest standard and are available as either A2 Limited Editions or A4 Open Editions, both using Hahnemuhle Fine Art Pearl and Epson archival quality inks. For exhibition purposes, all limited editions will be beautifully framed to suit the individual piece.
